Reuters - Private equity firm Blackstone Group raised its bid for Equity Office Properties Trust to $22.4 billion on Thursday, topping a roughly $21.6 billion offer led by Vornado Realty Trust and raising the stakes in the largest-ever battle for a real estate investment trust.
